Founded in 2014 by Cushla McFadden and Jade Nottage, Tom Mark Henry has studios in both Sydney and Brisbane. We bring together a highly-skilled, diverse team with decades of experience and degrees in interior architecture and design. With experience across industries in luxury single residential and multi-residential developments, commercial workplaces, hotels, hospitality, retail and wellness – every approach we take with our clients is to create spaces that inspire while enriching their lives. A typical project in our studio from start to finish anywhere from 6 months up to 3 years or more.

Our culture is supportive, open, and we celebrate each other’s successes and offer help during challenges. We have a mentorship 1-1 program within the studio where we regularly touch base on working towards individual goals. Our design philosophy is to be curious and creatively re-frame problems as solutions to the brief we are working with.

When selecting projects, we focus on criteria that align with our values and vision, ensuring each project contributes meaningfully to both our studio and the community. Project Selection Criteria includes alignment with values, cultural impact and feasibility and resources. Projects must resonate with our values, foster collaboration, enhance local culture, or address community or individual needs we are passionate about and of course, we evaluate projects and their feasibility including time, budget, and available resources.
We can reach the furniture procurement stage a lot quicker with the Product Library we’ve built, giving us information at our fingertips and making approvals quick and straightforward. We love the client dashboard, which allows clients to approve quotes directly, saving us many back-and-forth emails.
